Love this event! Great organisation, nice flat route, and this year we even had sunshine and the wind behind us on the return. See you next year all being well.

I really enjoyed the race and the atmosphere was excellent. Very well marshalled. The hq area was well organised with no queueing for me. The only downside was that I didn’t receive a text or email with my time and found the results online later in the day.

Good location of the start & finish lines. Plenty of Info provided from organisers who pre-warned that it gets very busy at the area of collecting bibs & writing contact details on the back & attaching timing chip to trainers. The whole 10k route was well marshalled, a water station half way round, toilets nearby & also at Marine Parade road. Being Bank Holiday Monday, there were lots of day trippers for the Whitstable & the carnival, which added to the already great atmosphere of the running event. I ran with 3 family members, we all thoroughly enjoyed the run, followed by going to the high street for a mooch round, seeing the local carnival & having fish & chips by the sea! Anyone attending the run, both as a runner & supported by family & friends will have a great day out!

Like the new set up the HQ and the finish line. Not sure why you still give out t shirts I would like the cost of the race to be reduced with no T shirts

Well organised and marshalled. The event HQ change was a good idea

I felt lucky to have got a place, clearly a very popular run. In a way, it feels like an extended version of Whitstable Parkrun. I was a little surprised at the outward bound part of the course using the normal public pavements and almost at the 5k point running straight onto the road, that was not closed with traffic running as usual, with no warning of this or Marshalls to supervise. Runners were either running directly on the road stopping traffic or crossing the road onto the pavement. This was while we looped to then run along the Coastal Path at the 5k point and head back to the finish line. This needs some attention for next time or a rethink.

First time here, great run. It was well marshalled with lots of encouragement received by marshalls, spectators and other runners.
The wave spacing worked really well, I was in wave 5.
Only issue was the cost of parking!

This is always one of my favourite running events of the year. It’s very well organised and I like the new team hq area - although it did get busy. The weather makes this event feel very different no matter how many times you do it - today the wind was thankfully light.

In previous years, I’ve usually received a result by text shortly after finishing. That didn’t happen today.

second half is certainly flat and the weather was perfect today.
good support and organisation.
