Very well organised and really pleased with overall race.
would be helpful if there was a free parking on site :-)

Nice venue, good atmosphere!
Our first time was mared a bit by the martial at the end saying to my friend that he had to disqualify her for wearing the wrong head phones. However they were checked at the beginning by another martial who said that they were ok. My friend was nearly in tears because he was quite insistent that he was going to disqualify her but in the end he let her off. I think that with better monitoring at the beginning and communication this would be better as to run 10k and be told it didn't count is quite horrible.

Great day
Well organised and loved the buzz of excitement from all the other runners. Weather was kind to us today so I think everyone had a big smile on their faces. Many thanks to the organisers for putting on another great running event.

Well organised with good marshaling at the points needed and more! Didn't expect a water station, so that was an added bonus. Great event, thank you!!!
Sarah Hunter

Lovely volunteers but a strange feel to the race
Have done quite a few organised races/events now. There were some amazing staff on the course itself - maybe volunteers (?) that made us feel motivated and great - thank you!!. However, the overall feel of the event was all about rules, what you can’t do. There was lots of telling people off on the tannoy. A staff member was particularly grumpy and rude about which way we needed to exit the race and when we asked for alternative did not offer one. We finished the run on such a high and these negative comments really did ruin the overall feel. I don’t usually post bad reviews but I actually would question recommending this for this reason
Hi Polly. We are not aware of lots of rules being quoted at the start or other times. We do remind you all about wearing the correct headphones, which is the case for all races under UKA rules. It is to try and help everyone. To our knowledge no other rules were quoted. The marshal at the end was just trying to make sure the one way system was followed to make it easier for everyone particularly those finishing after you who you would then be walking towards. Sorry if he came across as grumpy, that's not our intention. If you read the many other reviews they do show something different.

A very fast course if the weather is kind. The waves avoid any bottle necks. I was impressed with the organisation.
Only thing I would say is a bit more of a course description. I knew you ran back on the promenade but I was unsure if any off road or not. There was a grass section but luckily was still suitable for road shoes but I still took trail and road just in case
