This is my second year running it and I enjoyed it both times/ it has encouraged me to keep running and take on further challenges

I found the event abit repetitive, in future id probably look for an event with less overlap on the route. But the water was well spread out and the team were happy, encouraging and friendly. Didn't enjoy the sneaky hill at the end, thought the race finished down the bottom and lost some time before I realised it was up the hill.

It was my 1st competitive 10K and the heat made it tough! But once over, I can now say I enjoyed it!

The event was hot but not fault of the organisers. Enough water when needed. Flat for most of the run with a sneaky hill, but a race would not be one without a hill. The atmosphere was good. Music, tents, banners. Well organised.

Great event including the HQ at the castle but needed 1 more water station a long way in between them. And wow got stung at the car park £3.80 an hour wow. Take the train or run quicker.

I signed up for a half marathon, I only managed a 10k. The water station should have been scattered rather than so close together. The hill was a struggle, was not able to find the start at the beginning. Was not clearly sign posted. The negative thoughts won and I only managed a 10k.

Loved the sea view.

Great coastal race with a choice of distances.
Well marshalled beginner friendly race, flat enough for experienced runners chasing a pb.
There are a few cheeky hills towards the end!
The castle is a great venue for the event village.

Let down by only one hydration station on such a hot day and restricted to half a cup of water. Even at finish was restricted. Route was undulating in places with a uphill finish.

Great for beginners, very little in the way of elevation gain, just a doable climb at the end and up to the finish.
The medal was superb, well organised, nice that the registration and finish are by Whitstable Castle. If you are a tourist Whitstable is a lovely town to explore afterwards.

No where near enough water and water stops for such weather

V good event HQ … good vibes and atmosphere… nice tweek to this years starting line … the 2 distances are a really good feature… roll on next year!!

Great Marshall’s, cheering, supporting, efficient you were all fab! Loved the course except the hill
