The Marshalls were very supportive, kind and encouraging.
The course was generally gentle and the sea views pleasant.
One area that could have gone better was the Mile Marking for the 1/2 Marathon. It was unclear and confusing and perhaps something to look at for next year.
As a first timer in Whitstable I’ll definitely consider doing it again next year.

A great relatively flat half marathon. Superb for beginners. Support from all fabulous.

As its in the summer and quite warm, I'd perhaps recommend one or two water extra water stations perhaps. Otherwise everyone was really helpful and friendly

This was the first time I’d run the event and it had been changed into a two loop event. I found that a bit demotivating and I’d been looking forward to the original route.
Though overall I found it a lovely time and a very scenic run.

Had I realised it was a two lap run, I wouldn't have entered as I have a great dislike for two laps of anything. However it worked really well, despite from mile 10 onwards, only thinking - how on earth am I going to get up that "gentle" slope again!!. Slick organisation as always, great marshals, perhaps could have done with a few more but realise how hard it is to get marshals. Lovely medal - more loos though as huge q at start.

Well organised, great Marshalls - shame it wasn't the original course but a shortened one, however, it was fine, and it was good the event went ahead despite a lack of Marshalls. I would definitely enter again with the group of friends I completed it with.

One of the best coastal half marathon I have attended, as well as having one of the best finishers medals. Thanks for a great day

Would have preferred an out and back to Beltinge rather than two laps so hopefully that will return. Other wise it was really well organised event with brilliant marshalls in a great location. Thanks to all involved for putting it on.

Great stewards and plenty of information. Good flat course

Well organised with great staff, great volunteers and an awesome finish area. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming to everyone because that's the mood that the staff give out from the get go - everyone's welcome.
There's a reason SEUK events are my first choice when looking to fill my summer with running.
