I think an additional water station was required probably at the Sandwich Bay turn, mainly due to the heat.

Very well organised with an ideal venue - plenty of off-road parking, playing fields to warm-up etc. Liked the wave starts, as that helped to avoid congestion in the first kms. Nice, flat route with mix of road and trail and plenty of depth in the field

Lovely route through Sandwich and surrounding lanes, friendly event.
Thank you for another great event that I really enjoyed. I like the wave starts as it enables the runners to be separated out as the initial lanes are a little narrow. However, my only niggle on this occasion was that I was in wave 3. I had caught the back of wave 2 just outside the school and then had to navigate around other runners all through Sandwich.

Marshall were excellent and the run was well organised, there was an area between the 8-9km mark where you go over a little foot bridge that had a step at the end with no markings, could potentially be a hazard if you didn't see it. I would certainly do this event again. Thankyou for putting on such a great event.

Enjoyed the new route, great support from the marshals.
Nothing to do with the organisation etc but very disappointed in the runners that just dropped their water cartons along the loop after the 5K water station

I did this event last year and my only criticism is that this year there was trail running which I personally hate.

This was only my second 10k and I really enjoyed it. The route was great, atmosphere was good and the marshals were all very friendly and encouraging!

Fast race through town and country
A good race overall, well marshalled and lots of spectators. The route this year wasn’t as good as last year though- too many narrow paths and tracks with dog walkers coming the other way. Hope they revert to last years route next year!
