My "ONLY" negative comment would be that the music coming out of the speakers only started at 09:20!

This was my first Sporting Events event, and my first event I attended alone, and I really enjoyed it.

Race pack pick up was simple and easy, the starting area was well organised and ample facilities (even if they weren't delivered in the best condition!).

The race itself was a lovely route and flat course, well marshalled and signposted so easy to navigate for a first timer. There were some open road sections, but the drivers were respectful of the event.

All in all a great event, and one I hope to return to.

Always good. Road closures really made a difference, apart from the usual drivers who ignore it.

Parking and HQ excellent. Great marshals. My only negative was Sandown Rd with runners going up and back on both sides of the road and traffic trying to come through both ways as well. It made for difficult running sometimes. Otherwise, the course through the town was great.

Loved the atmosphere, great support, great marshalling. Lovely place to run. Great event!

Always organise a great race

I liked having the start in 3 waves based on expected finish time. That helped prevent log jams at the start with slow runners too far forward.

This is local to me. Easy to find car parking with loads of space. Loved the wave start (3 waves, set off 1 min apart). I enjoyed the course, good friendly encouraging marshalls. Recommended ❤️

This is a real gem of a race. The course is almost completely flat, so you can expect fast times and a smooth run from start to finish. It’s one of my absolute favourites, perfect for runners of all abilities, whether you’re chasing a PB or just soaking up the atmosphere. And with a race like this in Sandwich, you know it’s going to be a tasty one

All the marshalls and event organisers were very supportive throughout the route

Nice two lap race good for beginners and pb chasers. Well organised and plenty of parking available. Overall an enjoyable and stress free event which is credited to the organisation. Only small issue was that I crossed the line 10m short as did the two runners ahead of me so maybe just needs a look at.

One of my favourite 10k's. Nice course, great parking and facilities, very well run and organised.
