This was a well organised and relaxed race. Maybe a lot of people did not turn up because of the weather but there was never a long wait for the toilets, and it did not seem crowded there. The route is good but you are exposed to the elements, especially the wind. The sharp climb at about 13k was a killer for me but other than that pretty flat.
The marshalls were amazing - such enthusiasm and support, thank you!
I hadn't done this race since about 2004. I definitely won't leave it as long till the next time!

Very well organised race event with amazing support from the volunteers even in the wind and rain conditions! The course itself was lovely and mostly flat with a few inclines on the return leg, would highly recommend this race event and look forward to returning soon!

Really well organised, literally ran like clockwork!

Love the route taking you from Palm Bay down to the seafront in Margate, back past the gallery up the slope (what’s gone down must go up!) and back to Palm Bay. Taking in the sights along the front and the encouragement of the marshalls.

The race was very lonely and there was a big yep between the runners. I’m not sure a staggered start was needed for the number of people and a little biscuit or something at the end for runners would have been appreciated. Plenty of toilets though. Good support

Excellent organisation, communication and professionalism. Chip times communicated within minutes of finishing. Fairly flat, fast course with only a couple of small hills. My first 10 mile race and I will be doing again next year. Big thank you to all of the enthusiastic stewards

Thoroughly enjoyed it. I prefer an ‘all in one start’ fo a race of this size rather than waves, as it separates me a bit from those I would have hoped to run with, but really, that just gave me the chance to make some new running buddies on the way round!

You absolutely nailed it this year! The route was perfect, just slightly over the distance which was better than too short, easy to follow, no added loop at the end, thank goodness. The marshalls were wonderful, as always, the signing was perfect, the organisation was top and the medal!!!! The medal!!! So good!

Despite the grey, wet and miserable weather, this was a really good race. The course was fast, with plenty of regulars to compete against, which made it feel friendly and competitive at the same time. And even on a gloomy day, the sea view over Margate was a lovely bonus. Overall, a great event and one I’d happily run again

Would be better not to start and end on slippery grass given time of year. Excellent and enthusiastic marshals.

Despite a couple of 'hills' good course for a PB

This was my first ever official run and my first ever 10 mile run. And I couldn’t recommend it enough for beginners. Everyone was so supportive and friendly
