This is my local run so I might be biased but it is beautiful. It was windy, but there again, it usually is.
I liked how it was organised and I liked the new route (except the little bit at the end -which I first thought was going to be the whole loop- as I just wanted to stop!). Oh, and the mat at the start on which I tripped as it wasn't completely flat for wave 2.
My watch showed 16.1 km so it was a 10 miler for me so no problem with the distance.
The marshals were really nice. A really nice local event that I would recommend and will sign for next year.

Massive thanks and appreciation to all the Marshalling in the chilly and windy conditions. Well organised event. Good encouragement and support along the route.

It was good for all as you could do 5 mile or 10 mile

Only criticism I would have is the 200 metres you had to run past finish area and back to complete the course 10 miler, could the turnaround point in Westgate had been moved to avoid this confusion at the end.

Just a shame the course was a little short, not quite 5miles

Easy to navigate out and back course. Loads of friendly marshalls, indoor registration (which is good this time of year) and a nice course if you want to go for it!

This is one of my favourite races. Great sea views, only 1 minor hills and mostly flat and lots of room to overtake. Only a minor comment is the turnaround point for the 10 mile race could do with a big sign to signal to turnaround. I and a fellow runner nearly missed it and luckily a nearby marshal shouted and told us!

It’s the 4th time I’ve raced the 10 Miler & I’ll probably do it again next year.

Great event well organised by a team. Nice mostly flat course with a view if the sea. I shall be doing the 10m next year. Meeting point in the school was well organised with extra toilets. Marshall’s were friendly with lots of cheering. The only let down was the course falling short which is a little frustrating as I ran a PB but I am sure this will be fixed next year. Everything else was great, would recommend.

I found it quite tough with the wind and hilly parts, but it was very well organised and supported by your wonderful Marshall’s. Thank you.

Lovely route, my local route so I would love it. Very well organised and run. Nice medal. Little bit pricey for the event it is. Only real gripe was that the course fell short by 100m so my 10mile pb today wasn’t accurate as it was based on either 100m short or on a slower pace in the last 100m when I realised and started running again, after having chip cut off and collecting medal. If it wasn’t a pb run I wouldn’t have cared but, it was. Need to sort the course distance out and just move that last turnaround point back 50meters.
