Great event with all the pirates, parrots and canons going off. Very well organised, friendly and enjoyable.

Is there the potential to change the route, first 5k on the sea wall second on the trail that way we could be shielded from the wind when tired? Or create some sort of huge massive wind barrier

The outward 3 miles was tough going underfoot - any reason for not running on the path?

Fantastic flat course with a bit of “field” running the first 4km or so but all the rest on a tarmac path in good condition.

If you're a novice, like me, wear gloves! The wind off the sea and across the fields can get quite strong so hope for good weather and be prepared for sea water to be blown in your face on the way back.

Really enjoyed this run especially the cannons at the start. Would recommend.

Loved cannon to start, Johnny Depp at finish line along with parrots! Super organisation as always & helpful having a sport physio there too. Thank you.
