Lovely local run for me, well organised as always and lovely medal.
Nice and flat for beginners or PB chasers and I used it to come back from an injury, which it was perfect for. Nice views with fields one side and seaside the other.
Plenty of parking close by and actual toilets available.
Will be back next year all being well.
Well done to all the Marshalls as well who were all very encouraging and upbeat, despite the weather.

Great organisation and medal

Loved it was started with a cannon, although was expecting a bigger one. Would have been nice to run along the seafront both ways but loved the Pirates, the musket, the parrots etc great atmosphere.

Great run was tough across the field track for the first half of the race but lovely and flat on the run back when legs are tired. Loved the staggered start as there was no pushing and shoving from the faster runners. Shame no bag drop off. Great for beginners. Medal was great and loved the pirates and the cannon start.

I was very surprised and happy to find the first half was on grass. Clearly hadn't read the course description and thought it was all on the top of the seawall. Had a great run despite the British weather being its typical self. Although great weather for pirating I'm led to believe...

Well organised race but would have liked to have seen a list of prize winners, I could only find the results. Also does any of the entry fee go to charity?
