This run was very well organised, with plenty of friendly marshalls and really good traffic management. Lots of local support and good facilities. Really enjoyable course, with lots of ups and downs!

Church bells ringing over the Pilgrims Way section. Marshals had amplification over possible dangerous junctions. Plenty of local support on the route.

A couple of times the verbsl directional advice given was slightly late.

A big thank you to the Marshalls stopping the traffic on the A20 as I was crossing for the second time a driver tried to turn right, not sure if the driver hit the Marshall as it was only in my peripheral vision but saw a wing mirror on the ground so driver must have hit something. If it was the Marshall then he looked OK and deserves full credit trying to keep us safe at a tricky crossing with grumpy drivers. Well done.

First time running Maidstone half and it was an amazing experience. The Marshalls were amazing. I got my PB which I thought wasn’t achievable for the next few months. I will come back again next year

It is a great event with some great people from the harriers supporting and volunteering.
Beware , train for hills not like me that fails to prepare and then suffer the consequences lol.

Marshall’s were brilliant. The atmosphere was brilliant. Really scenic enjoyable run. Lots of up and downs to add a challenging aspect. Would definitely do again!!

It is very hilly so I wouldn’t recommend as a first half. However it was fun so would defo do again

Hilly course! But PB is possible!

Wasnt expecting quite so many hills, but the scenery was fantastic, the marshalls was excellent and Sporting Events did a great job.
( I didnt get a text message with my results again).

A very hilly run - so be prepared and practice either areas of the course or do lots of hill training. The other runners and people cheering on the sidelines created a friendly, encouraging and very hype vibe
A really rewarding half marathon to do!
