Great 10k run. Excellent support from marshals & locals. Lovely finish on the running track.

Good fast course, very well organised race.

My only disappointment was that I didn't receive an SMS of my result, despite logging my email address (phillips.kelvin57@yahoo.com) on my entry and this was confirmed on your entry confirmation email to me of 4th July 2026. I was unable to use this email address for this review as when I tried to log into this using this, I had forgotten my password and this didn't give me any option to reset this. Hence the reason for using my alternative email address for this review.

I liked how the runners were organised into waves. Good atmosphere around the entire route.

A really well organised and well run event, good convenient parking close to the event. Everything is really clear and well signposted, and the run itself is a flat, fast course with great support all the way round. I will be back next year for sure!

Shame that some members of the public can’t read signs that have been placed for road closures for weeks and think that rules do not apply to them putting the safety of runners and Marshalls at risk

First time doing it, won't be my last. So well organised, marshalls were amazing and I loved that the roads were closed for the event. Starting in waves was a big bonus too and I loved running back into the stadium to finish with still lots of people cheering you. Not as flat as I was expecting but I'm not great with even the slightest incline so don't let that put you off. The support along the whole route was brilliant, especially at the 7km mark. Also, having two water stations was great. Probably the best 10k race I've done and I would thoroughly recommend. Also, great parking facilities.

This is a really great event, completely closed roads makes it even more enjoyable. As always with Barry’s events, there is a great atmosphere, I’d thoroughly recommend it for all abilities.

Great marshalling, organisation and pre-race facilities. Certainly not a flat route yet love the roads being closed and having space to overtake. Utilisation of waves really benefits finish times and general safety. Last 300m on the race track is spectacular and inductive to a strong sprint finish. PB potential that attracts elite and beginner runners.

The atmosphere was tremendous, not just at the beginning all the way round the course, as were all the Marshalls unbelievably brilliant
Thank to everyone how organised it took some organisation and it was perfect spot on not a problem as far as I was concerned.
