Was fab to be able to run on a true closed road event. There wasn't a single point where I thought there may be a cone dodging car coming around the corner, and I can only put that down to the fantastic organisation and very well placed marshalls on the route.

The course itself had a few inclines, and great support at around 7km. I've never run on a track before, so to end at the Julie Rose and get the opportunity to feel some of that lovely bounce was a highlight for me!

Overall, a great event and one I would happily do again!

My second ever Sporting Events run, and I achieved a PB at both. Coincidence??

Yes there are hills but once you get past that what a run! Great organisation, easy to park, well enough toilets and room to get ready once signed on. Everyone was friendly and once the wave numbers went up the organisation getting us started was quick. The route is well marshalled and the locals for the most part are very supportive. The route is wide and well signed. Love the idea of the runna stall and the shop being open too.
Will absolutely be doing this one again.

Well organised, with plenty of Marshalls out and about the course to handle the road closures, twists and turns and the drink stations on the route.
