Enjoyable challenge
Really enjoyed the run and the route. Some stretches quieter with less support but overall great atmosphere with enthusiastic marshals
Excellent, Challenging Event
Everything about Barrys events, venues, countryside, atmosphere really great, only one complaint no trophies for older runners, This stops at V60+ in the race there was 56 male 60+ of which 13 were over 70+ could this be added if greater than I.E 8 to 10 in this category.
Excellent race
Lovely course & well organised
Well organised and good course
The event was well organised, the route clearly marked with plenty of marshalls. There was ample parking and several food stalls. Marshalls were all very supportive and encouraging. The majority of the route was on country lanes with a few uphills.
Maybe 10th time running this event…
Don’t listen to anybody saying it’s mostly flat. It’s not. 100m elev gain in 6 miles is fairly lumpy so if you’re not used to it, get some hilly pre-runs in :)
Great event and a good excuse for an afternoon in the multitude of Faversham pubs afterwards :)
Would be nicer if closed to traffic as there’s always an idiot driver trying to get to Tesco’s 1 minute earlier but it’s still a 4 ⭐️ set up and it’s not busy roadwise.
Would recommend it as an event and a day out. Nothing important not to like about it. Marshall’s we’re very positive and finishing times came in within a couple of hours.
See you next year :)
Good run and well organised
The venue was easy to find, lots of parking which was well organised. Waves were organised well and the route clearly signed with marshalls. A few stalls at the end were nice, very busy.
The route was pretty, a few hills which were a little challenging but an enjoyable run.
Great race
Lovely event, well organised. Great atmosphere.
Only a very small point was towards end after motorway bridge the road was busy so lots of us went on pavement but there was no access to route so had to jump the railings. Maybe a sign or marshal to tell you to cross or stay in road before that point.
Well organised and enjoyable race
Nice route
First time at Faversham 10k for me, it was a nice scenic route. I'd heard it was hilly but I didn't find it too bad. I guess if you're not used to running hills it might be tough. Mostly flat though. Well organised, good marshalls and just a short walk from the train station. The medal is nice too.
Hills!
Great atmosphere. Well organised from start to finish.
It’s quite a challenging route mostly on quiet roads but great scenery. Shout out to the volunteer marshalls who keep us going with their motivational words! Thanks!
Lovely route
Lovely scenic route with a couple of Hills to test you ☺️. Very organised plenty of parking.
Super course, well organised, great atmosphere
Most people would say it is a hilly course but actually it is not that bad, save for the long drag up to the M2 crossing at 2-3k and the shorter, sharper climb at 8-9k. The new beginning part of the route, introduced last year, is a definite improvement. Really well organised race and lots of support from marshalls along the way. Highly recommend this one!
Loved it
Really enjoyed it, well organised.
Coffee and cake at the end were fab.
Well organised and fantastic route
Very well organised event and fantastic support from the volunteers all around the course. Couple of slight hills making it a nice challenge for what is otherwise a fairly flat course, will definitely return next year! Also lovely medal presented at the end.
Very good event
