The route has a bif bottle neck for the first section with many in waves that were very slow for the wave, more waves could have helped.

Perfect autumn 10k. A "sporting course" that presents a great challenge for seasoned runners of all levels but is also "doable" for beginners. Superb organisation by Barry and his team and a great atmosphere. The changes to the previous route were an improvement and added a nice off-road twist to the course. Due to the nearby closure of the main road between Faversham and Ashford, one or two parts of the route were busier than they would normally be but the plentiful marshalls and generally wide roads meant this wasn't a problem.

Really good fun and a lovely atmosphere. Of course the hills were challenging but we're not out for record paces just enjoying the 10km experience and it was awesome.. Thanks to the marshalls and organisers who made it a great day on 15th Sep 2024..

Really good run if you want to test yourself, lots of hills but lovely route. Fantastic staff that cheer you on, so well organised!

The new route through the housing estate at the rear of Abbey School is quieter and safer than the previous route which used the A2.
Barry and his team put on another professional event with plenty of opportunities for all abilities to have a great race

So very thankful to Sporting Events for saving this race. I loved the route change, the support from the marshals and the overall organisation was just fantastic. I'm looking forward to next year!

If you want a hobby in running, sporting events are the best for organising excellent runs. So many volunteers on each route deserve recognition
