Only thing was we were old to keep left on country Lane when should have been on the right. Only snag

The marshals need to carry a black bin bag after the water station for empty water boxes or a few bins placed so people can throw the empty water boxes in the bin rather than on the floor. This is my only comment of a very well organised event

From HQ, start to finish, a very well run day. Rolling start in 3 waves worked really well, no bunching up, Uber friendly marshalls along the entire route. Great procedures at finish with light refreshments available too. The course is scenic, no major challenging hills (always a good thing). Equally great to get a PB or run as a beginning wanting a little step up from 5K. Highly recommend Cliffe Woods 5 Miler & sporting Events.

Great value for money.
A great new look to an old favourite.
Cliffe Woods School is a first class venue, with ample on site parking.
A fast, lumpy and (usually) warm all road course, accurately measured, through pleasant countryside with little traffic.
I particularly liked the fact that my race time was texted to my phone before I’d even got back to my car in the car park.

Another great event and lovely medal. Always enjoy sporting events they offer great value and encourage a great atmosphere. Thank you

Only had to move over for a couple of cars. Otherwise, traffic free
