My second time here , was hoping to return , gutted this is the last time !

It's a great event with lovely scenery and the café is good. You have to pay to park. The steps are challenging, up and down but the 5k option keeps the event inclusive.

Really lovely trail run, uninterrupted and well organised.
Some challenging bits, especially the steps of death, but otherwise actually fairly flat.
A decent race to try out trail running but just be aware - the steps!

Well organised, lovely route, great volunteers. Will defo do again, next time 10k though. Did 5k this time, may be gps but only came out as 2.89miles

I'm obviously biased but it would be nice to stretch awards over 70's!

Obviously not in Sporting Events UK's control, but our run was slightly marred by a woman behind us shouting ITS A TRIAL (think she meant trail) RUN whenever people tried navigating around the boggy areas, didn't think it was necessary and a new runner being shouted at would likely have been put off. Other than that a great morning and great event from Sporting events as usual. Just please don't shout at other runners unnecessarily.

Not quite sure if it was GPS or the route but the distance seemed to come up short.
Definitely one to do again

Great atmosphere, fantastic location

Paying for Car Parking was difficult due the pay machine being our of order.

SEUK did a great job on this - well organised, very good pre-race communication, excellent support throughout

SEUK marshals are always very positive and enthusiastic. Keeping us runners going. I totally enjoy a SEUK event. So professionally run but extremely friendly
