Lovely coastal run
Would prefer the last 2 miles at the start , but wonderful course with hills , it would suit all abilities.

Challenging course with fantastic organisation
Great experience for my first half marathon event. The course is challenging with a mix of steep/long uphill sections between long flat sections. Water is provided in multiple places on the route although moving the last station closer to the finish would have been good. Sweets at the halfway point for a sugar boost as well!
I agree with the reviewer from previous years, the out and back extra 3km past the start/finish point would be better completed at the start of the event rather than the end. It just feels never ending as you head out to that final turning point!
Everyone was friendly and encouraging throughout the event, and I will definitely be looking to book another event soon.

Very friendly and well managed event, with great views and a fairly challenging course made more so by the ever present breeze.
I know it’s always difficult to meet everyone’s toilet needs just before the race, but more portaloos would be good. The ones that were there were really good and well stocked with paper and soap. Anyway, overall it was a great event. Many thanks indeed.

Just a slight worry on the narrow bit coming back the other way had to shout runner coming through otherwise would of bumped into people other than that great race

I’d rather the start of the race be front loaded with the running two miles beyond the finish line. That was just soul destroying. Otherwise a cracking route.

I did the 10K my son did the Half, to be honest I wish I’d done the half, maybe next year. The scenery is spectacular the weather helped apart from the dastardly wind. But, it is on the coast! Sporting Events, you did it again! Thank you to the organisers and marshals xx
