A nice festive feel to a wonderfully scenic fun run. Marshalls helpful and supportive. Would like to see an opt in purchase for the medal as an expensive 5k.

Would have been good to have km markers. The marshals were brilliant.
Would do it again.

A few stalls selling hot drinks and food would have been good.

The only issue was when you came into the finish, it wasn’t quite clear where to go…

As tougher 5k as it gets. An enjoyable event would live to see a summer one!

Being towards the front of the race I found parts of the course a little confusing. The one that sticks in my memory was the switch-back when you dropped from the upper car park to the lower one, mostly down to the dark but I think the addition of some cones would have made it easier to read coming down the slope.

The only other issue I had was how tight the course was in places, mainly the tunnel bit and the bit with the metal railing before the hill. Obviously not much you can do about this but it did feel a bit congested in places.

Other than that, great event!

Having a few christmas stalls at the castle would be nice.

This was my first time attending an organised 5k event. Really easy to navigate and had a great run, thanks!

Great fun on a freezing cold night, good banter from all I met on the run all trying to stay warm, definitely glad I went

I feel the lighting in area's was poor. Even wearing body or head torches wasn't enough to avoid pot holes with puddles. Was a little crowded in some areas to. But I do really enjoy the event's and the time you all put in.

I enjoyed the run, it was chilly (think that’s putting it mildly) very Christmassy with the twinkling lights and rudolf red noses on most runners - if you don’t like running uphill, I probably wouldn’t suggest this one, but the running downhill was fun
