Unfortunately I was unable to run the race, but turned up to volunteer as a Marshall which I thoroughly enjoyed doing!

It would have been useful to have the route published before the event.

Only dodgy bits were the road crossings in Victoria Rd, but we were prewarned and plenty of marshals so no issue personally.

Very well organised event with a brilliant atmosphere, a huge thanks to the volunteers who organised this event and helped it run smoothly. The route itself was nice and relatively flat albeit a lovely uphill return. I will most definitely return next year!

The organisation was fantastic, there were enough marshals in the right places. The route was nice, the cakes at the end were fantastic. Very inclusive for slower runners and walkers. Would definitely do this event again.

Highly recommend, free parking very close, great HQ location, very friendly coulorful participants, there for the event not a PB. Great mainly flat route, excellent Marshall on the whole route.

I have even joined back to the gym and already looking at joining a running group ready for the next one!

The atmosphere was amazing, supportive & friendly. The event was well organised. We had great fun and hope it will become an annual event on the calendar in Ashford. Thanks to all who made it happen!

You could have done with a couple of extra marshall points. The first one would have been in Victoria park where the car park entrance is - this is always marshalled at parkrun due to traffic. The other marshall point / signing point would be as we came out of the area near the park to head back to the road. It was unclear as you emerged onto the road near the flats which way to turn. An arrow signing runners to turn right would have been useful. Other than that, a great event. Hope it goes from strength to strength. Will definitely be back next year if you run it again.
