Always fun to take part in a local race, the support is amazing. Well organised, very little traffic, great costumes from the marshals & a great medal at the end!

Frustrating to try and find results for the over 70's men category?

I've just added this to my list of favourites this year.
Atmosphere was great . Loved the effort the Marshalls put in with the costumes and encouragement. You was certainly blessed with beautiful weather. Excellent route.

Really nice route, well organised and encouragement from lovely marshals all the way around.

What a great race! Some beautiful scenery and lots of different terrain, including a gorgeous trail path through the woods. Really enjoyed it, and the marshalls as always were fantastic. Some truly scary costumes kept me running!

Will definitely be back next year in fancy dress.

Great race loved the route would of like to see more people dressed up maybe you need a prize for best dressed to encourage people

I was happy to start on the grass, and thought the Marshalls throughout were excellent. I’ve already said separately, and I know will only be of interest to a few, but don’t mislead and say there are prizes for age groups when there aren’t! There was nothing to indicate there were no vets prizes for the 5 mile.

Excellent venue with good facilities. Good parking and good checking. Course was good, quiet for traffic. Excellent marshaling start to finish. Well worth taking part.

Lovely run would definitely do it again and recommend it.

Next time perhaps a caviat note that flippers may be required!!!!!!!!

As always with Sporting Events UK, superb organisation, marshalling and atmosphere. It's a scenic, challenging course and was especially tough this year due to the torrential rain and very wet conditions underfoot, which made the off-road section almost like a X-C ! Although it's not something that will ever affect me personally (understatement !), there were very generous cash prizes on offer to the winners of both the 5 and 10 mile races. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The marshals on this race were amazing, especially with the weather conditions. The route was very hilly and flooded in places but made a good challenge. Great medal as always. Also great facilities, no queues for the toilets!
