**NEW ROUTE RETURNS IN 2023** After great success in the previous two years, the new route is back for good! The route still starts at the Pavilion at the University, covers some of the University grounds and also some of the historic "Crab and Winkle Way" in the lovely countryside on the edge of Canterbury. Lovely views across the East Kent countryside and the world famous Canterbury cathedral.

2023 sees the return of the University of Kent Canterbury 10k.
In 2020 we introduced a new route, which returns again in 2023. The route still starts at the Pavilion at the University, covers some of the University grounds and also some of the historic "Crab and Winkle Way" in the lovely countryside on the edge of Canterbury. Lovely views across the East Kent countryside and the world famous Canterbury cathedral. This new route is great and you all told us how much better it was, so it’s here to stay!
We will have a mini event village following the easing of restrictions in 2020, with plenty of space for you stay and relax after the event. There is plenty of free parking, so bring the family!
Every finisher gets a specially designed medal to mark the occasion.

On-the-day (subject to space): NO ON THE DAY ENTRIES
ADVANCED ENTRIES WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL 1PM THE MONDAY BEFORE THE EVENT.
Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 10km race is 15 years on the day.

BY CAR:
Parking will be available at the Pavilion, with additional parking in the adjacent Parkwood accommodation area and at Sibson a few minutes walk from Race HQ. BY BUS:
There are regular bus services to the University Campus from Canterbury City Centre. Stagecoach operate a Unibus service which runs approximately every 30 minutes on a Sunday. More information can be found by clicking here.
BY RAIL
Canterbury is served by two stations, Canterbury East and Canterbury West. Both offer a regular train service originating from Dover, Ramsgate/Margate, the Medway towns and London calling at a large number of intermediate stations. These are all operated by Southeastern Trains. The quickest train service from London, Ashford, Ebbsfleet or Stratford (London) is via Southeastern High Speed.
