After a sell-out year in 2019, this truly different event returns, taking place in the grounds of Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. Plenty to see with all the animals around the route, great views and a choice of 5k or 10k. All of your entry fee (minus booking fees) will go directly to help to fund the Aspinall Foundation's conservation work.
The Port Lympne 10k & 5k Challenge takes place within the grounds of the Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve and gives you a unique opportunity to see lots of different animals around the reserve. The route winds its way all around the site, and is open exclusively for the start of the run.
By taking part and fundraising for this year’s Port Lympne Challenge you will be protecting critically endangered Gorillas by supporting The Aspinall Foundation’s reintroduction projects in Gabon and Congo boosting wild populations and protecting an entire ecosystem.
Our Free Event Village will be open from 7:30am on the Port Lympne Grasslands outside of the main park where you will find Race HQ, stalls, food/drink and entertainment. The 5K and 10K races both start and finish at our event village so please bring spectators along to cheer you on and enjoy the day.
However, if you fundraise over £50 for The Aspinall Foundation for your run you will receive two free day entry tickets as a thanks from The Aspinall Foundation, valid for 12 months! Start Fundraising now using The Aspinall Foundation Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/jaf. Funds raised will go towards The Aspinall Foundations overseas projects to protect endangered animals from extinction and help to return more animals #backtothewild!
Within the Race HQ you will also have the opportunity to buy some special merchandise to celebrate your visit.
