The East Kent 10 Miler

This really is a lovely run around the East Kent countryside. Lots of open countryside views and rolling hills, you'll be able to see for miles!!

Whether you're a first-timer or a more experienced runner this route gives you a great chance to achieve something great.

About the event

Want that real sense of achievement? Do you want a challenge? With a elevation gain of 462 feet (twice that of the Canterbury 10), this race will give you a fair dose of hills, both up and down. It's definitely a race that deserves a medal and gives you bragging rights amongst all your friends.

We'll have lots of friendly faces, a great atmosphere and a fabulous Race HQ with a bar to relax in at the end.

Fully registered and certified by UKA and runbritain. As at all of our events we will be using electronic timing chips/transponders for the event. All results will be available at end of the race and will be submitted to UKA and runbritain for inclusion in record and rankings.

Finishers medal for all those completing the race. PLUS Category and team prizes!!

ADVANCED ENTRIES OPEN UNTIL 10AM THE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT. ON THE DAY ENTRIES WILL BE AVAILABLE 9AM - 10AM ON THE DAY SUBJECT TO SPACE.

Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 10 Mile race is 17 years on the day.

FROM ALL DIRECTIONS PLEASE FOLLOW DIRECTIONS OF CAR PARK MARSHALS UPON ARRIVAL.

FROM A2 London/Canterbury

Drive along M2 and A2. Take the exit toward Womenswold/Snowdown/Adisham/Nonington from A2

Follow Adisham Rd/B2046

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Adisham Rd/B2046

After 1 mile turn right onto Spinney Lane

After the first left (for Aylesham Industrial Estate), take the first left into Dorman Avenue South, and then take the next left into Snowdown Close. You will find parking and the entrance to the centre at the end of Snowdown Close.

FROM A20/A260 Folkestone

From A20 take exit to Canterbury Road/A260

Continue to follow A260

Go through 4 roundabouts

Continue for 8.8 miles

Turn right to stay on A260

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Adisham Rd/B2046

After 1 mile turn right onto Spinney Lane

After the first left (for Aylesham Industrial Estate), take the first left into Dorman Avenue South, and then take the next left into Snowdown Close. You will find parking and the entrance to the centre at the end of Snowdown Close.
