A great way to start off your new year! Whether you have just started your new fitness regime and want an initial test, or a more regular runner who wants to kick start 2018 in a friendly, local event, then this is for you. A lovely rural route in the countryside just outside Canterbury.
Why not enter this, and also the Bridge 5k on 22nd April and track your running progress?
This really is a lovely route. Mostly on road, but with some off-road sections. Great views across the valley and down into the pretty village of Barham. A great way to start off your new year with this 5k. This event raises money for the Village Hall.
For competitors and supporters the Village Hall will have a range of stalls available in a lovely environment, which is also next to the start/finish. There will be hot drinks, refreshments and entertainment available.
**KIDS FUN RUN** We will have a kids fun run starting at 9:45am. This will be £3 per child and sign up is on the day for this. So bring the whole family and enjoy this great new event.
Be sure to stay around afterwards for the fitness day - there will be demos and taster sessions by local health, fitness and wellbeing providers as well as refreshments and info on what’s going on in the area to support the active lifestyle!
As with all of our events we organise, we will be using the very latest electronic chip/transponder timing. The event is fully licensed and certified by runbritain.
We will be providing a live feed onto our website for results - so cross the line and your result goes live!
